Theodore Fritchey - Class Of 1909

Theodore Augustus Fritchey, 82, died Sunday July 27, 1975 in Alhambra, California.  Services at Haven Hill Cemetery with Dr. W.A. Robinson officiating.

He was born in Olney August 6, 1892, son of T. A. Fritchey and Mary E. Bucher Fritchey.

A 1909 graduate of Olney High School, he graduated from the University of Illinois in 1913 and later graduated from Harvard University business school.

Mr. Fritchey served as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Army in World War I, later serving in the Army of Occupation.

He was a life member of the Textile Corp. of America.  A generous contributor to the Richland County Historical Society, he made a gift of a valuable collection of books and documents about Abraham Lincoln.

Surviving is a brother, Paul Bucher Fritchey of Pasadena, Calif.

The body will be cremated and returned to Summers Funeral Home in Olney.  There will be no services with the exception of burial of the ashes.
