Mabel Modes, 92, Edison Park, Illinois died October 5, 1982 in Highland Park Hospital. Services held in the M.J. Suerth Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Lang presiding. Burial in Ridgewood Cemetery in Des Plaines.

Mrs. Modes was born in Olney May 5, 1890, the daughter of William Eichin and Georgiana (Heltman) Eichin. She married Edward C. Modes and he preceded her in death.

Survivors include a son, Edward R., Deerfield; two grandchildren, David Modes and Sandra L. Krug.
