Mrs. Florence A. (Byers) Thompson, 54, died in a local hospital Thursday, May 6, 1943. She was the daughter of Allen H. and Nettie S. (Rawlings) Byers.

Mrs. Thompson had been a resident of Austin, Texas for the past 2 years, moving here from New Orleans.

She is survived by her husband, C.L. Thompson of New Orleans; a daughter, Miss Grace Thompson of Austin and one brother, Martin Byers of Illinois.

Funeral services at Cook Funeral Home with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.
