Patricia A. Everette (Herman)

Patricia Avanell Herman, 74, of Gaylord, Michigan passed away peacefully at home on June 26, 2013, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born March 29, 1939 to Cleo and Helen (Herdes) Everette in Olney, Il. On March 29, 1957 she married Paul Daniel Herman.

Much to her two oldest sons chagrin at the time, Pat attended two years at Richmond High School with Tim and Dan, graduating in 1976.

A loving wife and mother, Patricia taught her four sons how to cook without using a recipe or measuring ingredients. She loved to watch soap operas and go to matinees with her friend, Pat Blake- she enjoyed movies starring Burt Reynolds and Tom Cruise. Patricia was known for her “green thumb” and was a gifted crafter who spent thousands of hours doing needlepoint and ceramics. She also enjoyed decorating for holidays.

Patricia is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Paul; sons, Timothy (Barbara), Dan (Andrea), Pat and Randy (Mary) Herman; grandchildren, Matt Herman, Megan (Dillon) Krumm, Christyn Herman, Damon Herman, Nicole (John) Adams, Alan Munsey, Adam Herman, Aaron (Stacey) Isenhauer and Noah Shambarger; great grandchildren, Wynn and Vivian; sister, Maxine Downing.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brothers, Robert, Gene Gerald and Eugene Harold Everette.

Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Cathedral.
