Billy Joe Weston, Sr., 63, of Calhoun, died  Friday, February 8, 2013, at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney.  Cremation rites were accorded and a memorial services held at a later date.

Mr. Weston was born August 31, 1949, in Richland County, the son of Russell Otho & Clara Alice (Galloway) Weston. He married Janice Fiscus on April 25, 1975, in Champaign. She survives.

He was an engineer in the oil field and was a Vietnam veteran, serving in the U.S. Marine Corps.

Mr. Weston is survived by his wife, Janice Weston, of Calhoun; son, Billy Joe Weston Jr. and wife Karen, of Noble; son, James Russell Wilson, of Claremont; son, Patrick Karns and wife Kim, of Goreville; 10 grandchildren, Levi Weston, Tiffany Weston, Dusty Weston, Tommy Schlette, Kristi Schlette, Kaeli Weiss, Mason Mireles, Chris Covey, Jesse Covey and Harley Covey; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Larry and Bobby Weston, and sister, Dora Akes.
