Michael M. Gardner, 57, of Olney passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his wife, Connie; children, Keri, Caitlin, and Kody; grandchild, Gavin Anson Michael Geller; sister-in-law, Cheri; and dog, Bitsy at 1:37 PM on May 2, 2013 at his residence. Cremation rites were accorded.

Michael M Gardner was born on March 5, 1956 in Shelbyville, IL to Galen and Vina Lucille (Andrews) Gardner. He married Connie on March 18, 1984 in Lawrenceville, IL. She survives.

He worked for 25 years at Dave's Party Pack where everyone knew Mikey. For the last 7 years he has worked for ERCU #1, a job he loved. He made so many new friends there. The family would like to also thank Hospice of Southeastern Illinois for their wonderful caring hearts.

Michael is survived by his wife of 29 years, Connie; daughters, Keri Geller of Las Cruces, NM and Caitlin Gardner of Olney; son, Kody of Olney; grandpups, Toby and Khloe; sister, Gay (Steve) Bussard of Olney; brother, Mark (Lori) Gardner of West Salem; very favorite little boy, grandson Gavin Anson Michael Geller; sister-in-law, Cheri Hall; nieces and nephew.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
