The victim of an apparent homocide was identified as Nishant Patel, 31, of Indianapolis, Indiana. Metro police were called to the 600 block of English Village Lane at 7:13 p.m. to investigate.

Nishant was shot in the face and killed after trying to sell his iPhone on Craigslist.  He had purchased an iPhone 5, but didn't like it so he put it up for sale on Craigslist. A potential buyer contacted him to purchase the phone at the man's apartment complex.

Patel's family urged him to meet in a public place, but he decided to go the the man's apartment complex at 670 English Village Lane, instead. When Patel didn't return home, his brother started looking for him and found him dead in the car with a gunshot would to the face.

Two men are arrested and charged with the killing of Patel.
