Betty E. Brookfield, 83, of St. Louis, Mo. formerly of Olney died Tuesday July 15, 2003 at Brookview Nursing Home in St. Louis, Mo.  Interment of ashes at a later date.

She married John D. Brookfield.

Mrs. Brookfield was an accounting supervisor for AMF Roadmaster from 1962 until her retirement.

She is survived by two daughters, Martha E. Hall of Maryland Heights, Mo. and Barbara A. Brookfield of DeKalb; and two grandchildren, Randall and Kathleen Hall of Maryland Heights, Mo.

Mrs. Brookfield was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Aileen Bourell;  her husband;  and a brother, Randell "Bud" Bourell.
