Word has been received here of the sudden death of 47 year old Riley Boner Barrett, a former Evansville Indiana resident, at his home in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, Tuesday morning September 24, 1957.

He was born March 19, 1910 son of Riley M. and Bessie S. (Boner) Barrett.

Mr. Barrett was the Band Director at Olney Township High School.

Surviving are his wife, Rowena; three sons, John, Robert and David; one daughter, Judy, all of Oak Ridge; his mother, Mrs. Bessie Barrett of Princeton, Indiana; and two sisters, Mrs. Russell Trent of Princeton and Mrs. B.E. Montgomery of West Lafayette.

Funeral in Presbyterian Church in Oak Ridge at 10 a.m. Thursday. Burial in Oak Ridge Memorial Park.
