Martha McCauley Yount Allie, 93, of St. Louis, Missouri, formerly of Olney, died at a St. Louis Convalescent Center January 25, 1992.

Mrs. Allie was born in January 7, 1899 in Olney, the daughter of Lozier and Myrtle Yount. Her father was the founder of the Olney Daily Mail. Her mother ran the newspaper after her father's death. Her brother, Allen Yount was the publisher for several years. She married Archibald Joseph Allie in 1925. He preceded her in death in 1962.

Mrs. Allie is survived by one daughter, Joan Butler of Washington, Mo.; three grandchildren, Candace Furlong of Sacramento, Calif., Matthew Butler of Washington, Mo. and Michael Butler of St. Louis, Mo.; one cousin, Jim McCallough; five great-grandchildren; five nieces and one nephew.
