Former Olney resident BERT KEEN, 94, of Muncie, Indiana, died Thursday December 26, 1991 at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie.

His funeral was held at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney with Rev. Ronald A. Cooley officiating. Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Keen was born to James and Clara (Harmon) Keen in Wabash County on September 10, 1897.  On March 12, 1921 her married Delpha Pauline Dougherty in Olney.  She died May 18, 1990.

A mail carrier from 1921 to 1958, Mr. Keen was a member of First Baptist Church in Olney.

He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Harold (Barbara) Zimmack of Muncie; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and a son, Bill.
