Jean S. Hostettler, 95, of Lawrenceville, Illinois died December 30, 1991 at his home.

He was the manager of the parts department at Smith Sales for 24 years, and was a member of the First Christian Church in Lawrenceville.

He was born February 4, 1896 in Bridgeport, Illinois to Henry and Stella (Shaw) Hostettler.

Surviving are his wife, Reba (Purcell) Hostettler, whom he married June 26, 1927; a son, Bob Hostettler of Utica, Michigan; a sister, Mary Lou Mogan of Fountain Hills, Arizona; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

His body was cremated and a graveside service held in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Dix.
