Clarence Lee Conour, 70, of Effingham, a native of Olney, died Friday morning (June 6, 1969) at the St. Anthony Hospital in Effingham.

Funeral services at the Johnson Funeral Home in Effingham with interment in Woodlawn Cemetery at Forest Park, Cook County.

Mr. Conour was born in Olney on June 10, 1898, son of the late Ira and Nora Schilt Conour. He graduated from Olney High School in 1916 and went to Maywood as a youth and was employed there for a number of years by a utility.

He was married to Helen Blank who preceded him in death. In recent years he has lived in Effingham where his only survivor, C. Frank Conour resides.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, John.
