Florence Elizabeth Roth, 88, of Rt. 4, Olney died Tuesday February 11, 1986 at Richland Memorial Hospital.  Services at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Olney with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Florence was born on April 17, 1897 in Olney, the daughter of Joseph and Florence (Chapin) Brassie. She married John F Roth on Feb 4, 1925 in Osage, Iowa and he survives.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Charles of Lawrenceville, IL, James Robert of Olney and George of Newton; two daughters Joan Lynn of Newton, IL and Mrs Carl (Pauline) Frohning of Newton, IL; a brother Lawrence Brassie of Cincinnati, OH,;  19 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers Bernard, Edward and Joseph Brassie Jr.; a sister Catherine Gross and an infant daughter (Charlotte Ann Roth).

She was a retired school teacher and also worked at the International Shoe Factory. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
