Effie Mae Trowbridge, 89, of Akron, Ohio died November 19, 1984 at Akron City Hospital.

She was born August 28, 1895 in Noble, Illinois daughter of Lewis and Ida Mae (Bateman) Murray. She married Romy Omar Trowbridge in Illinois.

Effie was an Akron resident for 65 years. She was a member of the Pleasant View Garden Club, the Krumroy Senior Citizens and also Goss Memorial Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Romy; and is survived by nephews, Isom Murray, Russell Murray, Jack Murray and Herman Murray; nieces, Eva Leonard, Cleo Braziel, Priscilla Hildebrand, Ida Mitchell; many great-nieces and nephews.

Funeral services at Schermesser Funeral Home. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park.
