June Montgomery (Ring) - Class Of 1919

Mrs. Sara June (Montgomery) Ring, 64, prominent citizen of Noble and well known former resident of Olney, died early this morning, February 26, 1965 at the Richland Memorial Hospital, after being a patient there for the past 20 days.

Her husband, Harry H. Ring Sr., has been a Noble business man for many years, owning and operating the Chevrolet dealership.

Mrs. Ring was born in Calhoun June 4, 1900, daughter of John and Mary (Pitzer) Montgomery. She lived in Olney for many years, moving to Noble in 1929.

She was a very active citizen in the county, was a faithful member of the Noble Methodist Church, and was a member of the Olney Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution.

Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Harry of Noble, Chevrolet dealer and Chairman of the Richland County Board of Supervisors; and Tom of Olney. Two granddaughters also survive.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Johnny Bowyer Ring.

Funeral services at the Noble Methodist Church, Rev. Roy D. Hudson officiating and Rev. C. T. Cramer assisting. Burial in the Noble Cemetery.
