Gustav T. "Gus" Frutiger, 77, of Houston, Texas and formerly of Olney, died in Houston December 31, 1979.  Services and burial were held in Houston on January 2.

Gus was born July 8, 1902, the son of Jacob Frutiger Jr. and Nellie E. Butz Frutiger.

Mr. Frutiger lived in Houston since 1946, an employee of Texaco, retiring after 42 years.

He is survived by his wife, Marian J.; mother, Nellie E. Frutiger, Olney; a sister and two nephews.
