Walter Warren - Class Of 1924

Walter Warren, 62, of 911 West Butler Street, one of Olney's finest citizens and well known fuel oil distributors, died Sunday afternoon, March 9, 1969 at the Richland Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Warren was born June 7, 1906 in Wakefield, son of Ernest and Esta Bryant Warren, and had lived in Olney for many years. He was associated with the First United Church of Christ and was a Past Exalted Ruler of Olney Lodge #926, Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks.

He is survived by his wife, Bernice "Hepsie", two daughters, Mrs. James V. (Sally) Stadge of Olney and Mrs. Bob (Dixie) West of Bluford, Ill., son, Lawrence E. Warren, living at home; his mother, Mrs. Esta Warren of Olney; and ten grandchildren. His father preceded him in death.

Funeral services in the Schaub Funeral Home with Pastor E.J. Florin and Pastor Donald Becker officiating. Interment in Haven Hill Cemetery.
