Mrs. G. F. Bogard, 43 of Mattoon, Illinois, died in her home Tuesday evening November 7, 1950, after a long illness.  The body was taken to Peers Memorial Chapel in Mattoon.

Mrs. Bogard was born in Olney February 22, 1907 as Florence Augusta, a daughter of Dr. and Mrs. A.T. Telford. She was married to Mr. George Franklin Bogard in Olney June 2, 1935. they moved to Mattoon in 1936. Mr. Bogard has been a New York Central railroad fireman for eleven years.

She is survived by her husband, Mr. Bogard; a son, Stephen T. Bogard; a sister, Mrs. G. M. Dunkle of Austin, Texas; her father and step-mother of Olney.

Mrs. Bogard was a member of the First Methodist Church, the Order of the Eastern Star and the White Shrine of Jerusalem.
