Mabel E. Wilson (Mueller) - Class Of 1924

Mabel E. (Wilson) Mueller, 88, of Coral Gables, Florida died peacefully at home on, Sunday, November 20, 1994 after a long period of decline. A long time resident of South Florida, she was born on March 1, 1906 in Olney, Illinois, daughter of William E. and Louise M. (Gaffner) Wilson.  She first married Byron L. Dush, co-founder and partner with Howard “Dutch” Summers of Summers-Dush Funeral Home in 1947. He passed away in 1966. She later married Henry Mueller.

She lead a wide-ranging and full life, with activities encompassing extensive traveling, managing a funeral home and managing a photography studio. She was a long-time member of Concordia and Lord of Life Churches.

Mrs. Mueller is survived by her beloved husband of 27 years, Henry Mueller; nephews, John (Peggy) Wilson, Sam (Patricia) Wilson; niece, Chris Wilson (Rod) Miracle; sister-in-law, Lurline Wilson and seven great nieces and nephews. All these treasure their memories of her spirit and love of life.

She is predeceased by her brothers, Fred S. Wilson and James E. Wilson, residents of South Florida for many years.

She is loved and will be missed by her family, friends and fellow church members.
