Leonard L. Poland, 87, of Sumner, died Friday June 7, 1991 at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney.  Funeral services at Sivert-Macey Funeral Home in Sumner with Rev. Fred White, Rev. Paul Alumbaugh and Rev. David Stevenson officiating. Burial in Bridgeport City Cemetery.

Mr. Poland was born February 17, 1904, the son of George and Amanda (Smith) Poland. He married Nina Brewer July 12, 1953.  Mr. Poland was an iron worker and a member of the United Methodist Church of Sumner.

Mr. Poland is survived by three brothers, Robert L. Poland, Sumner; George Frank Poland, Muncie, Ind. and one sister, Lena Cullison, Vincennes, Ind.

Mr. Poland was preceded in death by two brothers.
