Robert G. Talley, 68, of Sparta, Illinois died Thursday, March 6, 1975 in the St. Clement Hospital in Red Bud.

He was born March 2, 1907 in Parkersburg, Illinois to Bert R. and Minnie Parker Talley. On January 12, 1941 he married Lela Falkenhain in Perryville, Mo.

Survivors include his wife, Lila; a son, Dennis of Kirkwood, Mo; daughters, Betty Stellhorn of Walsh and Barbara Spreitler of Media and four grandchildren.

A brother, Howard, preceded him in death.

Services in McDaniel Funeral Home in Sparta with Rev. Erven Meseke officiating. Burial in the Union Cemetery near Sparta.
