Mrs. Persia “Skip” (Williamson) Edwardson, age 62, a former resident of the Calhoun community, died in her sleep early the morning of February 21, 1967 at her home in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. She had been a resident of Lawrenceburg for the past several months.

A native of Richland County, she was born April 25, 1904 near Calhoun, the daughter of Dr. Elza Williamson and Marguerte Jane (Cordier) Williamson. Her parents were well-known citizens and her father served the community of Calhoun for many years as its physician.

She leaves a sister and brother, Mrs. Mary Summers of Lawrenceburg, TN and F.J. Williamson of Calhoun. She also leaves a close friend, Ethel Cook of Lawrenceburg.

The body of Mrs. Edwardson is being returned to the Summers-Rainey Funeral Home in Olney where funeral plans will be announced later.
