Mrs. Theda Totten, 73, of Olney Rt. 5 passed away early this morning January 12, 1978 at the Richland Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services at  Summers Funeral Home with the Rev. Jesse Bellamy officiating. Interment in the Olive Branch Cemetery, Southwest of Olney.

Mrs. Totten was born in Clay County, daughter of Ed McWilliams and Elizabeth Culbertson McWilliams. She was married to Donald Totten on Jan. 2, 1926 and he preceded her in death Jan. 17, 1969. She and her husband had operated a farm Southwest of Olney for many years. She was a member of the Olive Branch Church.

Surviving are five sons; Edward W. Totten of Basile, La., Teddy Joe Totten of Olney, Donald F. Totten of Macomb, John M. Totten of Louisville and Jean Pat Totten of Olney, There are 12 grandchildren. She also leaves a sister, Rowena McWilliams of Olney.
