Services for Marion C. Ackert, 85 of Dixon, Illinois who died Thursday, July 21, 1988 at Katherine Shaw Bethea Hospital after a long illness, will be in Jones Funeral Home. Burial in Oakwood Cemetery, Dixon.

Marion was born January 10, 1903 daughter of Hallam L. and Mary E. (Duis) Ackert.

She was a teacher for 40 years, mainly at Lincoln School in Dixon.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Lee Ackert.
