Funeral services for Mrs. Constance (Richards) Mitchell, 44, the wife of Don Mitchell, who died July 14, 1948 at her home in Vernal, Utah, were held Monday afternoon from the Schaub Funeral Home, the Rev. W.A. Smith officiating. Burial was in Haven Hill Cemetery, Olney.

A native of Richland County, she and her family moved to Utah two years ago. “Connie” was born March 5, 1904 in Olney, Illinois, daughter of William L. and Ida P. (Jenkins) Richards.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Richard; her father, William L. Richards of Olney; a brother, Russell Richards also of Olney; and a sister, Mrs. Bernice Smith of Brazil, Ind.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Ida Richards.
