Lillie Courtright, 88, of Danville, formerly of Olney died dMonday December 12, 1994 at her home.  Funeral services at Pape Memorial Home and Gardens with Rev. C. Don Ferrill officiating. Burial in Spring Hill Cemetery.

Courtright was born May 30, 1906 in Richland County, the daughter of James Anthony and Anabel (Moore) Courtright.

Lillie attended Ritter Grade School and Olney High School and attended Eastern Illinois University at Charleston and received her bachelor's and master's degree from the University of Illinois. She was a school teacher in Richland County, Olney School System and Danville District 118 from 1930 to 1971. She was the fifth grade teacher and assistant principal at Elmwood Grade School.

She is survived by seven nieces.

Courtright was preceded in death by her parents and five sisters.
