Charles Earl King, 71, of Olney died Sunday, July 23, 1978 in Richland Memorial Hospital, Olney. Funeral services held in Zirkle Funeral Home with burial in Haven Hill Cemetery, Olney.

Mr. King was born November 13, 1906 in Clinton County, son of Oriley L. and Linnie (Gaddy) King.

He was a retired cashier and trust officer of Olney Trust & Banking Co., member of Olney Elks Lodge 926 and First Methodist Church, Olney. He married Winona J. Dewhirst in 1932.

Surviving are his wife, Winona; son, Robert E. of Lafayette, Indiana; two grandchildren; one step-grandchild and one great-grandchild.
