Dorothy McRoberts, 83, formerly of Olney, died Sunday November 26, 1989 at Loogootee Nursing Home in Loogootee, Ind.

Funeral services at Zirkle Funeral Chapel with Rev. Bob Logan officiating. Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. McRoberts was born May 11, 1906 in Richland County, the daughter of Lee and Bess (Matthews) Doty. She married David McRoberts and he preceded her in death.

She owned and operated the Merle Norman and Tiny Tot Shop in Olney for 32 years, also was a LPN, training at the Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind. 1928-1931. She later worked in Daviess County Hospital in Washington, Ind.

Mrs. McRoberts was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church in Olney and a member of the Daughters of Union Veterans.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
