W. David Borah - Class Of 1948

W. David Borah, 60, of Shelbyville died Saturday July 14, 1990 at his residence.  Burial at the Glenwood Cemetery in Shelbyville with Rev. Robert Goldsborough officiating.

Mr. Borah was born on March 11, 1930 in St. Louis, Missouri to Maurice David and Anna Margaret (Williams) Borah. He married Judi Mattoon of Olney on October 23, 1960 in Olney.

Mr. Borah was a retired Master Sergeant of the Illinois State Police District 10. He served for 30 years. He also operated Borah's Tax Service in Shelbyville for 23 years. Mr. Borah was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police, the Masonic Lodge of Shelbyville and the Ansar Shrine of Springfield.

Mr. Borah is survived by his wife, Judi Borah and three sons, Michael David of Milwaukee, Wisc., Gregory V. Borah of Memphis, Tenn. and Mark K. Borah of Scott Airforce Base. He is also survived by three grandchildren.

Mr. Borah was preceded in death by his parents.
