Jack Roy Tompson - Class Of 1932

Jack R. Tompson, 89, of Olney, died  Wednesday, April 20, 2005, at his residence.  Funeral services at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney with Minister Les Boldt officiating. Burial with full military rites in Crest Haven Memorial Park near Claremont.

Mr. Tompson was born on December 19, 1915 in Calhoun, the son of William and Kosetta (Dawson) Tompson. He married Eloise Brown on August 31, 1935. She survives.

He was retired. He had owned and operated Ray & Jack's Truck & Auto Repair in Olney. He was a member of Elm Street Christian Church in Olney. He was a U.S. Army Veteran.

Mr. Tompson is survived by his wife, Eloise Tompson of Olney; three children, Jack R. Tompson and his wife, Sharron of Denver, Colo., Donna Greenwood and her husband, Bill of Olney, and Doug Tompson and his wife, Janie of Olney; and eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and three sisters.
