Olga D. (Wernle) Paddock, 87, of Lawrenceville, Illinois died Saturday, March 6, 1993 at the Newburgh Health Care Center in Newburgh, Indiana.

She was born August 14, 1905 in Olney, Illinois, the daughter of William and Elizabeth (Frutiger) Wernle.

She was a registered nurse and had worked at Richland County Memorial Hospital and Lawrence County Memorial Hospital for many years. She was a member of the Christian Church of Bridgeport and the Bridgeport Women’s Club.

Surviving are a daughter, Jean Henshaw of Newburgh; a son, M. David Paddock of Lawrenceville and a granddaughter.

Her husband, Selvin M. Paddock died in 1985. A grandson is also deceased.

Services at Smith Funeral Home, Lawrenceville.
