Florence Garrett, 88, of Olney died Sunday October 22, 1995 at Burgin Manor in Olney.  Services at First United Methodist Church in Olney with Rev. Mark Myers officiating with burial in Haven Hill Cemetery.

She was born September 9, 1907 in Clay County, the daughter of Frederick W. and Sarah Ann (Williams) Prather. She married Clifton Garrett June 29, 1929 in Olney, and he preceded her in death August 26, 1982.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Olney and was co-owner and operator of Wieland-Goudy Hardware Store in Olney from 1946 until 1966.

She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Moore and her husband, Harold of Olney and Janet Tuttle and her husband, Jay of Houston, Texas; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one brother and three sisters.
