Mattie I. McQuillen Groves, 90, of Tuscola, Illinois died May 24, 1997.

She was born June 7, 1907 daughter of John J. and Carrie Gruneisen McQuillen.  She married Merl Forrest Groves January 7, 1929.  He preceded her in death.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband;  a daughter, Lenore Carolyn  Daniels;  sons,  William F. Groves and Merl  E. Groves.

She is survived by daughters,  Juanita Jean Elledge of Paris, Shirley Ann Campbell of Tuscola and Patricia Davis of Villa Grove.
