Maude B. McLerran, 84, of United Methodist Village in Lawrenceville, formerly of Olney, died in Lawrence County Hospital in Lawrenceville Monday, Sept. 2, 1991.

Mrs. McLerran was born March 28, 1907 in Lawrence County, the daughter of W A. and Minnie (Smith) Haines.

She married O. D. McLerran Jan. 16, 1926. He preceded her in death Nov. 13, 1979.

Mrs. McLerran is a retired nurses aid at Richland Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church.

Mrs. McLerran is survived by one son, Bryce H. McLerran of Gap, Penna.; three daugthers, Anneta M. Lynch of West Salem, Kay Pinkstaff of Morris and Marty King of Olney; one brother, A. J. Haines of Mo.; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. McLerran was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one sister.
