Gladys B. McCollum, 103, of Olney died Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2009 in Richland Memorial Hospital, Olney.

Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Olney, with the Rev. Father Jerry Wirth officiating. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Olney.

Gladys was born Sept. 30, 1906, in Richland County, the daughter of Ervin and Katherine Monahan Butler. She worked as a secretary. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

She married Harold C. McCollum on June 13, 1931. He preceded her in death Dec. 9, 1993.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews, including special nephew, Rick McCollum and wife Bessie of Crest Hill and their children, Joyce McCollum and Laura Houghtaylen; several good friends, including Rose Ann Kocher and Ann Moehle, both of Olney.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister and one brother.
