Fred Kinkade, 66, of Odin and a native of Richland County, died Saturday night, September 27, 1969 at the St. Mary's Hospital in Centralia.

He was a retired employee of the Texaco Oil Co. He was a 1925 graduate of the Olney High School. He taught several years in rural schools

Funeral services held at the Wilson Funeral Home at Odin with interment in Elmwood Cemetery, Flora.

He was born June 11, 1903 in Olney, a son of Thomas and Mary Strung Kinkade. He married Flossie Matthews.

Surviving are his wife, Flossie; son Lawrence of St. Elmo; three grandchildren; brother, Jack of Corydon, Ind.; two sisters, Mrs. Esther Weaver of Alton and Mrs. Ruth Suttler of Fort Collins, Colo.
