Richard F. Gentry, former resident of Cave-In-Rock, Illinois died at Chester, Illinois at 6 a.m. Friday, April 15, 1955. Richard was born in 1903 son of John J. and Clara (Stevens) Gentry.

Surviving are the widow, Sophia (Gumble) Gentry; a daughter, Clara Pritchett of Sailor Springs, Illinois; and two sisters, Mrs. James Garland and Mrs. Grace Kittinger.

Funeral services will be held at the Christian Church in Sailor Springs at 2 p.m. Sunday.
