Verne E. Burgener, 59 years old, Indianapolis, Indiana, president of the Deeds Equipment Co., died yesterday, November 21, 1965 in Community Hospital.

He was a native of Olney, Illinois and had lived in Indianapolis 30 years. He had been associated with the contractor’s equipment industry for 25 years.

He was a member of the Equipment Distributors of Indiana and the Highway Equipment and Materials Association.

Funeral services in Flanner & Buchanan Fall Creek Mortuary. Burial in Washington Park East Cemetery.

Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Virginia L. Burgener; a son, Charles D. Sturgeon of Boston, Mass; a daughter, Mrs. Louise Hernandez of Los Angeles, Calif and a brother, Ray Burgener and the mother, Mrs. Lewis Burgener, both of Olney, Ill.
