Pauline Smith, 90, of Olney formerly of Seymour, Ind., died Thursday, June 22, 1995 at Heritage House in Seymour, Ind.

Services at Myers Funeral Home in Seymour, Ind. Burial in the Riverview Cemetery in Seymour.

Smith was born June 19, 1906 in Lawrence County, the daughter of John B. and Perna E. (Martin) Carroll. She married Howard "Smitty" Smith in June 1949 in Olney. He preceded her in death September 18, 1964.

She was a member of United Methodist Church in Olney, a retired teacher from Olney and a substitute teacher in Seymour and a member of the Elks Auxiliary of Seymour and a former member of the Elks Ladies Bridge Club in Seymour.

She is survived by two sisters, Virginia Seed of Evansville, Ind. and Alice "Jo" Hunley of Vero Beach, Fla.; three nephews and two nieces.
