Louise Kern, 89, of Olney  died Saturday November 4, 1995 at Burgin Manor in Olney.  Services at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Olney with Rev. Father Jerry Wirth officiating. Burial in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Olney.

Kern was born January 17, 1906 in Ste. Marie, the daughter of Philip and Anna (Ochs) Bolander. She married Frank Kern January 26, 1929 in Aurora.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Olney and had worked at Weber Medical Clinic in Olney.

She is survived by two sons, Joseph Kern of Lancaster, Calif. and Michael Kern and his wife, Janice of Olney; a daughter, Mary Ann Galella and her husband, Joe of Toms River, N.J.; a brother, Gilbert Bolander of Olney; two sisters, Rose Barthelme of Midland, Texas and Charlene Schlanser of Effingham; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one brother and one sister.
