Dale Gubelman, 81, of Lawrenceville, Illinois, died May 20, 1985 in Lawrence County Memorial Hospital. A son of Louis and Sarah Marritt Gubelman, he was born Aug. 28,1903 in Richland County.

He was retired from the First National Bank of Sumner where he was a cashier for 40 to 45 years.

His first wife, Helen Madden Gubelman, preceded him in death in 1981.

Surviving are his wife, Alma McNabb Vinson Gubelman; one daughter, Mrs. John (Marjorie) White of Lawrenceville; two step-sons; one step-daughter; and one sister, Mrs. Irene Case of Port Angeles, Wash. There are two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services at Emmons-Macey Funeral Home, and burial in the Sumner Cemetery.
