Mr. John Ferguson Beaird, 78, of Pikeville, Kentucky, formerly a long time resident of Tampa, Florida, passed away Saturday, March 10, 1984 at his residence. He was born in Illinois August 6, 1905 son of the late Charles F. and Eliza (Daniel) Beaird.

He was a member of the St. David’s Episcopal Church in Pikeville, a member of the Masonic Lodge, a retired Coal Operator of Call and Ramsey Coal Co., Pikeville, a former owner of Yellow Cab Co., past member of the Tampa Country Club and Tampa Yacht Club.

His wife, Mrs. Chloe Newell Beaird preceded him in death November 24, 1982. He is survived by two grandchildren.

Memorial services held at the St. John’s Episcopal Church in Tampa with burial at the St. John’s Episcopal Church Cremains Garden, Tampa.
