Dale Bowlby Ridgely, 92, San Antonio, Texas passed away June 17, 1992.  He is buried in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas.  His last place of residence was San Antonio.

Dale was born March 8, 1900 in Olney, Illinois, son of Edwin A. and Mattie (Bowlby) Ridgely.  He married Lily Anne Wallace.

As a young man, his occupation was farming, working for Addison B. Pennycuff on Rt. 1, Olney.  In 1918 he registered with the World War I Selective Service System at Olney. 

He was a retired Brigadier General in the U S. Army.
