A well known former resident of Noble, Illinois, Ralph E. Jones, 51, died suddenly last Friday morning, November 18, 1955 at his home in Springfield, Illinois after suffering a heart attack.

In 1922-23, he was a high scoring star on the Olney high school basketball team, after starring at the Noble 3-year high school previously.

He is survived by his wife; two sisters, Mrs. Everett Toliver and Mrs. Nellie Dickerson, both of Noble; and a brother, Stewart, of Chicago.

Funeral services were held in the Bisch Memorial Home in Springfield with burial in Roselawn Memorial Park cemetery, Springfield.
