Lloyd O. Hawkins, 78, Lincoln, former Olney resident, died Friday (August 26, 1983) at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville, Indiana. Services at the Hosselton-Bookhout-Engelmeier Funeral Home in Noble with Brother Martin Stump officiating. Burial in Memorial Gardens.

Born at Noble November 13, 1904, he was the son of Harry and Nettie Frost Hawkins. He was married January 11, 1931 to Florence Hawkins, who survives.

A retired grocer, he was a member of the United Methodist Church in Olney and the Elks Lodge here.

Other survivors include; a son, James Hawkins, Lincoln; a daughter, Mrs. Linda Gross, Carmel, Ind.; a sister, Mrs. Ann Henkle, San Diego, Calif.; and three grandchildren.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers.
