Edward Shaw Alley - Class Of 1921

Edward Shaw Alley, age 64 years of Seattle, Washington, died in a hospital Wednesday, January 10, 1968 of a heart attack.

Mr. Alley, born July 22, 1903 in Olney, Illinois was with the International Shoe Co. in St. Louis before moving to Seattle in 1937 to become regional sales manager. He retired in 1965. Since then he had been part owner with his son, of Bagley’s Shoes in University Village.

Mr. Alley was past vice-president of the Cascadian Club and a member of the Board of the First Methodist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Johnnie; two sons, John Edward and Henry Melton Alley, both of Seattle; and a sister, Mrs. Lowell (Marian) Traughber, St. Louis.

Mr. Alley was preceded in death by his parents, Henry B. and Anna H. (Hill) Alley.
