Paul Cornelius Weber - Class Of 1921

Dr. Paul C. Weber, 95, of Olney died Friday January 3, 1997 at Richland Memorial Hospital.  Services at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney with Rev. Stuart Liegey officiating. Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery in Olney.

Weber was born February 5, 1901 in Clay City, the son of Dr. Neal and Zula (Kepp) Weber. He married Ollie Pierce June 19, 1949 in Olney.

He was a member of Elm Street Christian Church, the Illinois State Medical Association, Olney Rotary Club, Olney Lodge #140 A.F. & A.M. and Olney Lodge #926 B.P.O. Elks. Dr. Weber interned at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, N.Y. for two years before returning to Olney to join his father, uncle and aunts at the Olney Sanitarium and Weber Medical Clinic. He practiced for 45 years in the specialty of OB/GYN. He was vice president of Olney Trust and Banking Company for 40 years.

He is survived by his wife; one son, Richard P. Weber and his wife, Nancy of Mattoon; one daughter, Winifred A. True and her husband, Gordon of St. Charles, Mo.; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Dr. Frank C. Weber.
