Alice Elizabeth Fritschle (Kennedy) - Class Of 1921

Alice Fritschle Kennedy, 82, Sun City, Ariz. died June 26, 1986 in Sun City. Entombment at Haven Hill Mausoleum in Olney.

Mrs. Kennedy was born in Olney, the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. William E. Fritschle.

She lived in Springfield for 48 years before moving to Arizona in 1981. She was a retired teacher, choir director and personnel administrator for the State of Illinois.

She was employed by the Illinois Civil Service Comission, becoming director of training in 1943. She was a member of Central Baptist Church of Springfield; Zonta, International, Gamma Alpha Chi, Theta Sigma Phi, Kappa Tau Alpha, American Society for Public Administration and Public Personnel Association.

She was honored for her outstanding contribution to the State Training Program of Illinois and was listed in 2,000 Women of Achievement.

Survivors include her husband, Wendell; two sons, William and Alan; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
