Dr. John Otto Nelson, 80, 314 N. Ludlow, Olney died Wednesday June 16, 1982 in the Olney Care Center.

Graveside services at the new Mausoleum in Haven Hill Cemetery, with Rev. Dwight Jones presiding.

Dr. Nelson was born January 17, 1902 in Richland County, the son of John Henry and Louise (Sterchi) Nelson.

He was a doctor and a member of the First United Methodist Church.

His wife, Ellen, survives. He was preceded in death by his parents.
